On the Turntable
Quote by: Will Oldham “As soon as it becomes your profession to critique a book, or movie, or record then, not only do you lose your passion for it, but it loses validity for whoever you’re trying to turn it onto because they’re going to be approaching it from a consumer’s point of view, not from a professional writer’s point of view.” Submissions
You can mail any materials to me electronically here or hard copy at: The Perm & The Skullet 9100 Cub Trail Raleigh, NC 27615 I promise to listen to everything, but due to the large amount of material I receive, I can not guarantee review. Thanks! Friends

Saturday, July 02, 2005 Today is the Live 8 concerts and I hope you have been able to catch some concert footage on VH1 (12noon- 8pm) or online. Please take a moment and look here , here and here. I will not stand on a box and force you to conform to my views or anyone elses, but I do ask for you to just take a moment and click the "Make Poverty History" link at the top of the screen or any of the links I've hypertexted. The G8 summit is upon us and it brings together the leaders of the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia and it's extremely important to talk about poverty and the issues that efffect everyone on this planet. If you want to sign the ONE campaign petition letter to President Bush click here. We owe it to the world to be informed and then find out what we can do here and around the world.
